Moshe Feldenkrais

The Feldenkrais Method® is named after its originator, Dr. Moshe Feldenkrais, D.Sc. (1904-1984), a Russian born physicist, judo expert, mechanical engineer and educator.
He developed this innovative approach to movement re-education when he was injured playing soccer and advised he would have little chance of ever walking without pain. Dr. Feldenkrais applied his knowledge of anatomy, physiology, infant development, physics, and engineering, as well as his mastery of martial arts, to restore his own functioning and, later, the functioning of many others.
